If you're planning on attending and covering IPC APEX EXPO® in 2012 as a registered member of the media, you've come to the right spot!

Registered members of the press have access to the exhibition, technical conference sessions (lunch is not included), keynote sessions, standards development meetings (excluding “invitation only” meetings) and press office. Each supporting publication is entitled to access the Technical Conference Proceedings online.
PLEASE NOTE: Press are not allowed in the following meetings: PCB Executive Management, EMS Management, SMEMA Council, and PCB Suppliers Management or any meetings marked “by invitation” or “closed.” Press may be asked to leave other meetings where particularly sensitive information is being discussed. Your cooperation is appreciated.

IPC's Media Accreditation Policy

Sales, advertising, public relations and market research staff, business analysts, publishers and technical consultants are not eligible for press credentials.

Press are not allowed in the following meetings: PCB Presidents Management, EMS Management Council, SMEMA Council, PCB Suppliers Management Council and management and trade show steering committee and subcommittee meetings. Press are not allowed at meetings marked “by invitation” and may be asked to leave any other meetings with sensitive content. We appreciate your cooperation.

IPC requires proof of applicant’s professional status, including titled business card, publication, and applicant’s name listed in an editorial capacity.

Trade and Business Publications

Editorial staff must provide a business card with an editorial title and a current issue’s masthead listing their name.

Freelance Writers / Authors

Persons requesting freelance credentials must provide an original letter of assignment and two bylined articles published within the last six months. Those who freelance occasionally and are employed by non-news organizations are not eligible for media credentials. Authors must be under current contract and provide an original letter from their publisher. Freelance authors receiving credentials without subsequent publication will be denied press credentials at IPC’s discretion.

Internet-based Publications

Editors from online newsletters or solicited-article publications are admitted at IPC’s discretion and must provide proof of direct editorial coverage of the industry or related technology to be considered for eligibility.
